Elgin #2

Also known as Schlesser School. Preserved in the fairgrounds at Le Mars. Built in 1885 at the cost of $400, this school was originally two miles from Struble in the NE quarter of section 9. In 1961 it was moved to the fairgrounds.

    Apparently the place to go to see one room schoolhouses are the fairgrounds in LaMars.
